Mr.

i had a title once, they called me Mr.

now they don't even call me, they message me, it's just not the same, and i don't need to hear from another call centre about how i could be giving them more money (or any money).

i don't want to point out the obvious all the time, but you the reader are truly patient, or truly curious

where am i going with this?

oh yeah, your ultimate purpose on this planet in this lifetime!
(what other planet you ask? which other lifetime? good questions!)

it's kind of like asking what use am i? among 7 billion people, what is my purpose?

that's too big a question, and not even a good one.  don't use people, appreciate them, like a work of art.

now, the question is, what can i appreciate about myself? why would someone appreciate me? does anyone appreciate me (more than a cookie or a coffee)? and how am i a work of art?

well, have you ever thought someone (a baker or a barrista) was so amazing or wonderful that she/he was like a work of art? fell in love? let your jaw drop? wow! this person is amazing! no? (was it just because they were making something for you?)

me neither
ha! yes, i think we all have, but maybe we don't remember (art is something you remember, but maybe you heard a wonderful voice, or the punch of fragrant apple blossoms, not all beauty can be seen)

let's get back to that, art is something you remember. isn't it nice to be remembered?
not for how useful or how used you were
not for some mysterious purpose
but because you simply are a work of art
there's a lot of art our there
we all need to appreciate, honestly, open-heartedly, what and who we can
wouldn't the world be better with a little more appreciation?
smile more often, it can be a sign that you appreciate,
not the lewd or unsavory smiles
the warm, honest ones
the ones that can be seen in the eyes (no foolin)
no one ever said 'what a lovely frown you have!'
hopefully no one ever said that

don't say that to anyone, it will be bad karma,
let's leave the world a better place than we found it, shall we?

what's that Bette Midler song, Glory of Love
you've got to smile a little, laugh a little ....

show a little more appreciation while you still can,
not with words, words are cheap
a smile can save your corner of the world

in this lifetime, for this planet, because, really,

   that's all we have

smile

(i forgot my point, but i have a title)
